Vermont makes it easy to register to vote.  You must be 18 years of age or will be 18 at the time of the election. And you must be a Vermont resident.

Contact the Town Clerk (802-264-5520) to see if you are registered to vote as a resident of Colchester. You can also ask what voting district you are in and save time at the polls.

What's your voting district?

Colchester has two voting districts for Representatives to the House of Representatives in Montpelier.  Each of those two districts elects two Representatives. There are also two Senatorial districts, though nearly all of Colchester is within the Grand Isle Senate district. 

The House districts are Chittenden 19 and Chittenden 20. 

The Senate districts are a little strange.
